I was trying to do the photo shoot for my newly completed bear, Toffee and eventually coaxed him into sitting still next to Missy. Jemima was not going to be left out! She sat like a statue until all the pictures were taken. She is determined that the bears will not steal her thunder.

On another note, I am having problems with my blog account and cannot comment on anyone's blog. So, thank you very much for visiting mine and leaving lovely comments and as soon as I have sorted out my problems, my comments will be left again. In the meantime I enjoy all your posts in silence!

A blessed week to all of you.

How lucky am I?? I was at a bear show last weekend and they were selling raffle tickets to raise money for the WWF and this Panda was first prize and I won him! I have taken the photograph of him sitting on a chair in my workroom so that you can see how big he is. He is absolutely gorgeous and wants to be loved and cuddled all the time.

I am still desperately trying to finish a bear. He/she is sitting on my work table with such an acusing look on its face. Soon little one, soon ...

Here is a picture of my daughter Candice, granddaughter Georgia and grandson Caleb. I mentioned in a previous post that they came from Australia to visit here is South Africa. The ten days flew by but we had such a good time just catching up.

Georgia is totally in love with her grandfather's Harley Davidson and every time he stopped there were squeals of "one more time"!

This little bear travelled all the way from Alaska to come and live in South Africa! He was made by Vicki of Custom Teddies and he's the tiniest little fellow, only slightly bigger than a thimble when he is sitting. Unfortunately I am useless at taking pictures of mini bears (and he is mini mini) and this photograph doesn't do him justice. He has a face full of expression and looks like a little vintage bear found in some attic. I was so delighted when he arrived on Friday. I have decided to name him Juno.

Thank you Vicki, I was feeling so down and he arrived to brighten my weekend. All my bears were delighted to meet him and being the smallest in the hug, they are very protective. I will treasure him and take very good care of him. Please tell your sister that the doily is gorgeous, she is a very talented lady.

I hope everyone has a spectacular week.

Six days to go! My daughter and grandchildren arrive from Australia on the 26th of April. They are travelling all the way from Rockhampton (North East coast) to Johannesburg, South Africa. Excitement levels are ever so high in our household - preparations, cleaning, polishing, decorating, buying of gifts ..... and for the first time in six years I will have one of my children with me on my birthday. What a blessed gift.

Kitty to teddy ... "Don't be afraid Ferdinand, I will protect you, look how fierce I am!"
