I took a break from bear making on Sunday and made this little heart as a trial for my easter gifts. I was quite pleased with the result. I was given a piece of Taiwanese silk for mini bear making and I used this as a backing for the heart. the fabric is very delicate and is lovely for an uncomplicated heart pattern!

Hi Pat! I love your blog! I recently connected with Vicki of Custom Bears. I just read your comments on her blog and thought I'd best go see you. I'm a bit slow getting places. I was touched by seeing my little saying on your blog, thanks. But when I saw Atlas Shrugged, I got goose bumps. There aren't many who've read or even heard of Ayn Rand. Or John Gault. I will follow your blog and your life's journey. We are connected, even though I just found you. And not just through Ayn Rand! Laura
Oops, I meant Custom Teddys. Sorry Vicki. Little gray cells floating away. Hugs to you both, Laura
Hi Pat,
Your new bear is cute as is the little heart. You have been busy.
Have a good Wednesday.
Hugs
Carolyn
Thank you Carolyn! I am doing great battle with the bears but I hope it will end soon.
Laura, I read The Fountainhead for the first time when I was 20 and I was 33 when I read Atlas Shrugged and it changed my life forever. The only other Ayn Rand I have read is We, The Living and my daughters Rotti is now named Kira! One cannot read Ayn Rand and remain untouched. I live by her theory that we are what our partners think they deserve, on a very subconscious level.
Well, I hope that we can chat a lot more. Absolutely love your blog and your passion for the bears.
Hi Pat, loved the photos of your balloon ride, I have done that once, I thought I'd be scared of the height but not at all, it was amazing! Love the bear you made and that heart is so pretty. Thanks for popping by my blog, Hugs, catherine x
Wow ladies, this is a good Wednesday!
