I am busy with so many projects at the moment but at least one was completed this weekend. It's definitely not an easy to task to make a black bear and making an Alpaca black bear is a nightmare. This boy is 45 cm and very cuddly. Although he was very willing to do the photo shoot and sat patiently whilst I took picture upon picture, he is unfortunately not photogenic at all. He's a gorgeous boy in the fur and I'm going to miss him when he goes to live with my friend.

Dear Pat
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my blog. I really understand how you must feel with your children so far away. The poor Australians have had a hard time of it this past few months, now with the fires in and around Perth.
When a solder is killed in Afghanistan all outside communication is shut down until family have been informed. My heart breaks every time one of them dies. The latest casualty leaves a wife due to give birth their first child later this month.
Love your black bear, hard colour to work with and photograph but he looks wonderful.
have a good week
Wendy

From the Black Bear ... "thank you, ladies, for all your wonderful compliments."
(he's quite a handful - he knows he's cute - lol)

Actually, Pat, his features are quiet distinguishable, even on the photo. I avoid very dark browns and blacks, for the most part ... so I admire your fortitude! Glad the creative drive is visiting you again. Love you and your bears! Vicki
